We have to stay overnight in Barkot and there is also a guest house of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) from many hotels there. And you can book by visiting its online GMVN portal . Along with this, you will also get to see private hotels in Barkot there.

2) Day two of travel

Then the next morning we will wake up and go to see Yamunotri. But we have to go first from Barkot to Jankichatti, so the distance from Barkot to Jankichatti is 44 kms. From Barkot, first you go to Jankichatti, then from there we will have to walk 6 kilometers and while traveling on foot, it may take you about 4 to 5 hours because the path is uphill. After that we will reach Yamunotri.

Then you visit Yamunotri and you can spend as much time as you want, you can spend your time there comfortably and after that you will have to go to Barkot again from there. You will get evening by the time you reach Barkot, so you will have to stay there for the night.

3) Day Three of travel

On the third day we will proceed from Barkot towards Gangotri Dham. But you don’t have to reach the director Gangotri. Because there are many places of interest and tourist places in the middle of it and the distance from Barkot to Uttarkashi is about 90 to 100 kilometers, that is, it will take you 3 to 4 hours to reach Uttarkashi, you can take hotels etc. in Uttarkashi. 4) Day four of travel

Then the next morning you go from there to Gangotri and the distance from Uttarkashi to Gangotri is about 100 kilometers and you can go there and have darshan. 5) Day five of travel

Then on the fifth day you have to leave from Uttarkashi towards Sonprayag i.e. towards Kedarnath Dham. So you don’t have to go directly to Kedarnath. You should go from Uttarkashi to Sonprayag only and you should stay overnight in Sonprayag. Sonprayag is about 220 kms from Uttarkashi and it is going to take you around 10 to 11 hours to cover 220 kms which will be very tiring.

6) Day six of travel

On the sixth day you have to get up and then to reach Kedarnath from Sonprayag, you have to start trekking and you have to do this trekking from Gaurikund i.e. you have to go from Sonprayag to Gaurikund which is 5 kilometers away, you can go in any sumo vagera. Trekking or walking journey starts from Gaurikund and this is 16 kms trekking to go from Gaurikund to Kedarnath and this 16 km trekking can be done either by horse mule or you can also take helicopter facility. And on that day you stay in Kedarnath only.

7) Day seven of travel

Then you have to come back from Kedarnath and reach Sonprayag on the next day and you have to stay in Sonprayag itself. If it starts, that’s why you do the same state on that day.

8) Day eight of travel

So friends, on the eighth day you leave for Sonprayag se Badrinath. So if you do not have any travel package or your own car, then you will find many buses available here which will provide you the facility of Kedarnath to Badrinath. The distance from Kedarnath to Badrinath is about 220 kilometers, you do not have to do any trekking to reach Badrinath temple because there is no walking tour here because direct bus will take you here. 9) Day nine of travel

On the ninth day, you have to visit Badrinath ji and you can roam there for the whole day, you can spend your time, then you have to stay in Badrinath on that day also.

10) Day ten of travel

And on the tenth day you can go towards your home from Badrinath, then in return you will have to come till Haridwar because train facility will also be available to you from Haridwar. So either you stay in Haridwar in the middle of that day too or you can take the night train to your home.
